Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
